This site rates fighters from the whole record of the sport: every professional contest we can find, in every promotion, read by one model. It shows what the model believed about a fighter on the night of each fight and what it believes now, with everything that has happened since.
It is independent. It is not affiliated with any promotion, sanctioning body or sportsbook, and it sells nothing. The ratings are the opinion of a model, not official rankings, and nothing here is betting advice. The calibration page shows how often the forecaster has been right, and that the betting market has been right more often.
Fight Curve began in 2018 as MMAMath, a rating model written in R. It was rebuilt from the ground up in 2026, on a much larger record and a different model, which the methods page describes.
Records come from public sources, listed on the data page. They hold mistakes: a result entered wrongly, two fighters merged under one name, one fighter split in two, a date of birth that is off. Corrections are welcome, with a source.
Write to corrections@fightcurve.com for a correction, or if you are a source or a person named on a page and want a record changed or removed. Requests are handled promptly.
